Fashion 2013

The world of
fashion
is always shifting, and sometimes it can be rigid to keep up. High-end
fashion houses release new lines each
season with a whole new variety of styles, colors, themes and trends. Regular
stores at the mall also reveal new lines each time, and they frequently take motivation
from the high-end fashion houses. Even if it may be fairly difficult to keep up
with the ever changing trends, it allows each season to get exciting and fun,
new additions to your clothes. Starting out at the beginning of the year, the
fashion-world has already naked some exciting trends for 2012
Peplums

Peplum accents are the should-have trend this time. Whether it is a peplum avoid,
a peplum shirt, or even a peplum dress, this style has conquered the catwalks
this season. Designers including Vera Wang, Jason Wu, Yves Saint Laurent and
Dior all showcased designs that featured peplum accents, and clothing stores
like Zara are soon to follow costume this season.
Neutral Colors

Light colors were a giant trend on the airstrip this season. Baby blues,
pinks and yellows were featured highly on this year's catwalk. Light hues and pale
sorbet colors were used in clothes, shoes and purses, but also as a trend for
nail polishes. Designers including Carolina Herrera, Prada, Valentino, Dolce
& Gabbana, Miu Miu, Lanvin, and Givenchy all featured models in pale colors
and pastels. In modern
fashion many
clothing dealers have also taken to this trend, and stores like Forever21 are
now featuring clothing in muted shades.
Color overcrowding
Color jamming is a trend which has remained in
fashion since the end of last year, but is likely to be important
during spring 2012. Color blocking involves tiring bright items together. For
example, a purple skirt may be worn out with a bright red shirt. Designers such
as Marc Jacobs, Tommy Hilfiger, Donna Karan, John Galliano and Gucci have used color
blocking in their collections.
